Who we are
Bricks and Octane is an independent fan site about LEGO cars and racing vehicles. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. It is written to support GDPR (EU/UK), CCPA/CPRA (California), and COPPA (US children’s privacy).
Information we collect
- Age range. When you use the site we ask your date of birth and store only your age range (under 13 or 13+), never your exact date of birth.
- Your privacy choices. Your consent selections are stored in a first-party cookie and recorded so we can honor them.
- Usage data. With your consent, analytics about how you use the site.
Children’s privacy (under 13)
If you tell us you are under 13, we put the site into family-safe mode and minimize data: no behavioral tracking, no personalized ads, and no personalized feed. See our Kids Privacy Notice.
How we use information
To run and secure the site, to honor your privacy choices, and — only with consent — to measure usage and show advertising. We do not sell personal information as that term is defined under CCPA/CPRA.
